About a month ago, YouTube turned five years old and the service has now started a site that celebrates this success. On the anniversary site, users are invited to upload their own video describing how YouTube changed their lives.
Yesterday, YouTube announced that the service now has over two billion video views per day. This means that, on average, every internet user in the world spends 15 minutes per day on Youtube.
In addition, videos are uploaded every minute, which together extend beyond 24 hours. On Facebook alone, videos from YouTube are played which in playing time corresponds to 46.2 years, every day.
