Finding good wines can be difficult, and it’s easy to choose the same bottle out of habit.
To inspire customers to choose differently, Systembolaget is now using artificial intelligence (ai). In the company’s app, you can click on a wine you like and choose Find similar drinks. You then get tips on things that the AI system thinks you should like.
The app can also be used to give you more information about a wine. You can also scan the bottle’s barcode to view its information page. It is therefore possible to see, for example, what the wine bottle at home in the cupboard costs.
To find wine that is not on the System, there is the app Vivino, which has around 12 million wines in its database. Here you scan the wine label itself to get more information.
