My Acer Aspire with Windows 7 won’t boot. It starts buzzing like it’s running and gets warm underneath, but the screen stays completely black.
In the past it felt overheated but now I have a cooling plate with fans underneath. Just when I start up, it still hasn’t had time to get any heat up – so maybe it’s something else that’s the problem. What to do?

I have had a similar problem once on a desktop computer. Then it was a memorial site that had broken. Without a memory installed in that location, the computer started. I got a new motherboard under warranty.
