The Read It Later web service was started back in 2007 and offers users a way to save web pages in a temporary list. The list can then be accessed via browsers, smartphones and tablets.
Today, Read It Later announces that the service is changing its name to Pocket. Pocket is available to download for free for iPhone, iPad, Android and Kindle Fire. In addition, there are plug-ins for the most common browsers from third-party developers.
Pocket is also supported by over 300 different apps such as Twitter, Flipboard and Reeder. Previous users of Read It Later can use their existing accounts on Pocket.
