The privacy-focused messaging service Telegram is now announcing that it will release its own video conferencing service in May, reports Engadget.
The video conference service will be available on mobiles, tablets and desktops and will come with classic video conference tools such as screen sharing and noise reduction. Similar to Telegram’s other communication services, the video conferences will be fully encrypted.
Telegram actually revealed its plans for a video conferencing service back in 2020, saying at the time that it would be released that year. It didn’t really happen that way, but now Telegram’s video conference service is here soon.
