The American computer giant has quietly upgraded its laptop with a removable screen, reports The Verge. Now the model can be configured with eighth-generation quad-core Intel processors. Partly the middle choice Intel i5, partly the top choice with Core i7 which also has Nvidia Geforce discrete graphics.
However, the cheapest entry-level model still has the seventh-generation dual-core Intel Core i5 processor. Depending on the configuration, the Surface Book 2 comes with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage as standard.
The Swedish prices start at SEK 17,999 for the old, seventh-generation processor. For some reason, we can’t configure the Surface Book 2 with the new eighth generation i5 in Microsoft’s Swedish store, so what the prices start at there is unknown at the time of writing. Surface Book 2 with 13.5-inch screen and eighth-generation Core i7, on the other hand, starts at SEK 23,399.
