Microsoft follows Zoom and now adds the ability to replace your real background during the video call with a virtual one, suitable if you want to hide a mountain of dishes on the kitchen counter while working from home. Microsoft rolled out the update to Teams during the week, something the company talks about in a long blog post about what it means to work from home today.
However, the option to upload your own images as a background is still missing. The user can instead choose from a series of images selected by Microsoft, but the feature will be added later.
