Not only that Office 365 changes its name to Microsoft 365 and is expanded with several new functions, Microsoft also took the opportunity on Monday to present upcoming news in the Edge browser.
First, Edge will get a feature that will alert you if a password you’ve saved has appeared in any hacked password database circulating online. It is a common function in password managers, but is also available in, for example, Chrome.
A feature that already exists in Firefox is also coming to Edge: Vertical tabs. For users with wide screens, this can be very beneficial to make better use of all the desktop space. With the tabs in a list on the left, space is freed up and regardless of how many you have open, you can read what is in each tab.
Finally, Collections, the feature that helps you collect information on various topics, will come to the mobile version of Edge.
