Our Microsoft and Google accounts are the hub of much of our digital information, and the companies are happy to share this information with others. This is one of the basic ideas behind both companies’ business models.
In other words, when you install a service or an app, you may get an opportunity to share your Microsoft or Google account. For services that you have stopped using, it is wise to remove access, and the easiest way to do this is to browse to these pages and log in. You then see which companies have access to your account information – and you have the option to remove them.
