The monitor was originally presented before CES this year and is intended for content creation and coding. Dualup has a resolution of 2560 x 2880 and the whole new aspect ratio 16:18.
LG themselves say that the Nano-IPS display has the same area as two 21.5-inch screens stacked on top of each other. There is also a function to split the image vertically.
The refresh rate is 60Hz, typical brightness of 300 cd/m2, contrast ratio is 1000:1, response time 5 milliseconds. the color depth of 10 bits per pixel and the viewing angle is 178 degrees both vertically and horizontally. The monitor comes with an adjustable LG mount and can deliver 90 watts over usb-c.
The LG Dualup 28MB780-B is available to buy in Sweden from July 1. Recommended price is SEK 7,990.
