Last week, Google announced that it had temporarily stopped the development of Chrome, due to the chaos that the coronavirus has created in the workplace.
Now a new schedule for the browser has been presented and the idea is to start sending out a security update for version 80 in just a few days. The next step is to release version 81 to the public just before the Easter weekend, the Chromium Blog reports.
In order to catch up with the planning, they then choose to skip version 82 and move all planned news to version 83, which is to be released in mid-May.
