The analysis company Harris Interactive has asked over 30,000 people what they think of different companies based on 20 different criteria. Among the criteria were questions about the companies’ financial strength, social responsibility and leadership.
Google managed to get 84.05 points out of 100 in this year’s survey and claimed first place. Among the other technology companies that ended up well on the list are Apple (5), Intel (6), Amazon (8), Sony (14) and Microsoft (16). All had over 80 points.
At the bottom of the list were insurance companies and banks. The oil company BP had the next worst score after the insurance company AIG which received 47.77 points.
