According to information to The Wall Street Journal, via The Verge, Discord has ended the conversations the company had with Microsoft and other companies regarding a possible sale.
The Wall Street Journal reported earlier in March that the negotiations had entered an intense stage and that Microsoft could pay as much as 10 billion dollars for the gaming-focused chat app.
Discord is estimated to have around 140 million monthly users and pulled in a whopping $130 million in 2020. Meanwhile, the company has so far not turned a profit.
According to The Wall Street Journal, both Discord and Microsoft are still open to new talks in the future.
