Comprado claims to challenge players such as Eniro, which previously let you search for hairdressers, cinemas and restaurants online. However, no booking system has been offered. Through direct connections to popular booking services such as Bokadirekt, Bookatable and Lasingoo, Comprado wants to simplify that part.
The idea for the new comparison service is said to have come about when one of Comprado’s founders, Anders Brinck, was saddened that it was not particularly easy to compare prices and assortments at physical stores online.
– Much of the information was available digitally, but it was difficult to find and comparisons were impossible to make. Comprado felt like an obvious collection service to create to make it easier for consumers, says Anders Brinck in a press release.
Comprado is currently limited to six categories; Car service and workshop, extra prices at grocery stores, wellness and exercise, food and drink, beauty and health as well as dry cleaning and shoe repair. CEO Frederik Marqvard tells PC för Alla that it is the first in the world with this type of combined booking and comparison service, and aims to broaden the range significantly in the near future.
